Take a peep! You're looking at the (mostly) finished version of my CERA installation. Initially deformed by strong prairie winds, this little hut now stands strong in the marshes of Perry Pond! Pretty thrilled with how this one turned out, a good mix of initial planning, some midproject panic, and eventual adaptation. Look for some pictures from the public opening here next week!
A bit of a late post here. Grinnell's Bachelor of Arts Exhibition (BAX), a combination student/faculty show, opened April 8 in the Faulconer Gallery. I showed Pueblo Hermoso for the 2nd time and Hominid for the first. I was deeply honored to receive a Juror's Prize for Hominid from visiting artist Jane Gilmore, whose work I have admired for a long time.
Various installation shots. That's all for now!
